Service / Technical SEO
What technical SEO covers
Crawlability: a robots file that allows search engines in and a sitemap that lists every page worth indexing
Indexing: one canonical address for each page, and no accidental noindex tags on pages that should rank
Page speed: the Core Web Vitals, which measure how quickly the main content appears, how stable the layout is and how fast the page responds
Mobile: pages that read and work properly on a phone
Structured data: machine-readable descriptions of the business, its services and its articles
Security and addresses: HTTPS everywhere, sensible redirects and no broken links
Page structure: a unique title and description, and one clear main heading on every page
How a technical check works
The first step is to see the site the way a search engine does. We read the page source, test speed and accessibility with Lighthouse, review the sitemap, and check indexing and coverage reports in Google Search Console. The result is a short list of fixes in order of impact, rather than a long report of minor warnings.
Why technical SEO comes first
Content and links only help if search engines can reach and understand the pages. A slow first view, a missing sitemap or two pages competing for the same topic can hold back a site that is otherwise well written. Fixing the foundation first makes every later article and page work harder. It sits at the start of our wider SEO services, and it is easiest to get right when the site is built with it in mind, as in our web design work.
What technical SEO cannot do
It removes obstacles. It does not decide rankings on its own, and nobody can promise a position on page one. Competition, the quality of the content and time all matter, and the first measurable changes often take weeks.
Working together remotely
Lemurian Studios works with clients anywhere in the United States. Audits, fixes and reporting happen online, so your location does not change the process or the result.
Common questions
Does a brand new site need a technical check?
Often yes. New sites commonly launch with gaps such as a missing sitemap, duplicate titles or slow images, and they are cheaper to fix before search engines have already crawled them.
How long until fixes show up?
Search engines recrawl at their own pace. Changes to indexing can appear within days or weeks, and any effect on rankings takes longer.
Is it the same as local SEO?
No. Technical SEO applies to every site, local or national. Local SEO additionally needs a real business address and a verified Google Business Profile.
