What diners look for first
Hungry people are impatient. They want the menu, the hours, the address and a way to order or book, and they want them without pinching and zooming. A restaurant site that makes them hunt loses the table to the next result.
What a restaurant website needs
The menu as real text on the page, not a PDF, so it loads fast and can be read by search engines
Opening hours and holiday changes that are easy to update
Address, map and parking or transit details
A single, obvious button for reservations or online ordering
Photography and brand styling that show the atmosphere before the first visit
Contact details that a phone can tap
Why the menu should not be a PDF
PDF menus are slow on mobile, hard to read at phone size and invisible to most of the ways people search. A menu built into the page can be searched, translated, shared and updated in minutes when a dish sells out.
Search for restaurants
Restaurant searches are mostly local, so the Google Business Profile matters as much as the website. The site supports it with consistent name, address and phone details, a clear page for the menu, and structured data describing the business. If the restaurant has more than one location, each location should get its own page with its own real address and details.
Branding that reads on a plate and on a screen
A restaurant identity has to work on a sign, a menu, a takeout bag and a tiny social avatar. We build the brand and the website together so the type, color and photography feel like one place.
Working with Lemurian Studios
We design for restaurants and cafes anywhere in the United States. Reviews, revisions and handoff all happen online, so you do not need to be near us.
Can I change the menu myself?
Yes. Sites are built in Framer, so prices and dishes can be edited in the editor without a developer.
